Greetings Friends!Enjoy the Sagittarius Astrology Newsletter for 2009.You may or may not agree with me but I always find Sagittarian-ruled November 21 - December 20 as the easiest, kindest, softest and gentlest time of the year. It will be particularly active in all sectors because there are no retrograde planets this cycle except Uranus, the upside of which is that there will be less sudden shifts and changes for all signs. Enjoy your Turkey Day and be generous but frugal in buying gifts for the Holiday Season. There will be a Full Moon on December 2 at 10 degrees of Gemini, which means that all the waffling that the Twin Sign likes to do will be coming to an end. Either buy what you can't live without or walk away from it; commit or cut loose, Mr. and Ms. Gemini. There will be a New Moon on December 16th at 24 degrees of Sagittarius, which is a golden opportunity for the Archers to start a new project, make a fast getaway or change consultants--learn to listen to you. The New Moon is also positive for other Fire Signs, Aries and Leo. A word to those who know how to follow good orderly direction: Pluto in Capricorn will be squaring Saturn in Libra for several months. As you know from reading this column Pluto in Capricorn is about restructuring and rebuilding. In its square to Saturn in Libra, many more of us than usual will be changing relationships—love partners, marriage partners and business associates. We will all be experiencing a radical change in who stays in our life and how we must make room for new relationships.

ARIES (March 20 – April 19) You are going to be caught in the cross-hairs of that Saturn in Libra, Pluto in Capricorn forming a Cardinal T-square with Aries for a few years. The best way to survive to thrive is to see the world as “it is all about all of us, and not just all about you.” With the lunations this month you will be able to operate without much constraint but you had better plan to measure what you say and what you do and make sure it is uber ethical and fair for all concerned. LEO (July 22 – August 22) Mars will be in your sign for so long you might yearn for a Silent Month at Kripalu or shipwreck on a desert island. Mars can make you angry, highly energized or just plain pugilistic. If this were my transit I would learn to meditate, take yoga classes and write in a journal. It is going to be interesting for you to go back and see the progress you made with letting go and letting God. As Charles Dickens wrote in “A Tale of Two Cities,” this might just be the best and the worst of times. |

TAURUS (April 20 – May 20) This will not be your finest hour nor will you feel like everything is moving to the beat of your drummer. However, there is nothing wrong with taking a breather and regrouping. As I write this column the stock market is making you happier than a pig in Hog Heaven but to tell the truth, Wall Street is suffering from the Yo-Yo Affect, up one day and headed south the next. VIRGO (August 23 – September 22) I’m sure you are so thankful to have escaped Saturn in Virgo, but the better attitude is, “What did I learn?” Virgo always likes to think she knows better and does more with what she knows than the rest of the signs. What I would do if I had a Virgo planet prominent in my chart (I do), I would count my blessings, ask the next three people “What can I do for you?” and thank God for what I don’t have that I would have killed for a little while ago (like that horrible man or woman you were nuts to marry). Enjoy the uncluttered mind, Virgos! CAPRICORN (December 21 – January 19) You may have a tad bit of trouble with contracts and social contacts for a while because Saturn has moved into Libra squaring Pluto in Capricorn. I would love to tell you that this is like the three-day flu—in and out and back to normal—but it’s anything but. You will have to realize that Capricorn has the power, and Libra must do the changing. This is a great time to find a Higher Power and stick with him or her. |

GEMINI (May 21 – June 20) No one ever accused you of being an air-head—a bit of a waffler, maybe—but you might try to live in those air castles with Saturn having moved into Libra a few weeks ago—where it will reside for two and a half years. The good news is that the lunations this cycle are going to benefit you more than not: nobody loves to move from one idea to another, or from one place to somewhere else, quite like you do—some of us call that a “moving target.” Another up cycle for you Twins. LIBRA (September 23 – October 22) Now that Saturn is in your sign it is best not to avoid getting honest with yourself about the condition of your marriage, business partnerships and friendships are in. The Saturn Affect is to test you to see if she or he is the right partner for you. Libras are as funny as they come about holding on to someone or something until they are driven out with knives and guns. Don’t let the sheriff have to escort you off the premises. Make up your mind to either get professional help or leave quietly. AQUARIUS (January 20 – February 17) You are now going to see for more than two and a half years what it is like to have the Universe co-sign your big ideas with the Saturn effect in trine to you. Do not be complacent and for lordy sakes not all your bright ideas are going to help make the world a better place. Neptune is still in Aquarius making delusion a slippery slope for you Uranus-ruled Water Bearers. Watch where you step! |

CANCER (June 21 – July 21) After a long and arduous haul—where you chipped your manicured digits or lost your mind in the weeds—you are finally going to get full cooperation from the stars and all the blessings they can bestow. Don’t forget to thank your family, friends, and enemies for putting up with your dour nature. The one thing that a Cancer learns from genuflecting at the altar of God is that your life is none of your business. Start acting like it. SCORPIO (October 23 – November 21) If you did not get a big lift and feel as if life is worth living again after that New Moon in Scorpio November 16th, God help you because it will not get much better than that. And New Moons are new beginnings that can last for a long, long time. Look at your list and see what God has given you and show gratitude by helping out the less fortunate. You are about to step high up on the ladder of success. Thank God from whom all blessings flow. PISCES (February 18 – March 19) You better wish for an early snow this winter as both lunations, the Full Moon in Gemini and the New Moon in Sagittarius, are going to afflict you this month. The best news is that you are still relishing the good vibes from that New Moon in Scorpio on November 16th. Uranus is still causing shock waves in your fragile nervous system but the upside of that transit is that it is making room for more of your pipedreams. |
