Greetings Friends!Enjoy the Leo Astrology Newsletter for 2010!This month is going to be very challenging for all signs, but particularly for Cardinal Signs: Aries, Cancer, Libra and Capricorn. We have all endured the last two eclipses in Capricorn and Cancer and now on August 1 there will be a Cardinal T-Square with Jupiter/Uranus in Aries opposing Saturn in Libra and both squaring Pluto in Capricorn. Some astrologers are calling this the Big Collision Effect. I am choosing to look at it as life on life's terms. I had warned everyone in January 2008 when Pluto went into Capricorn that we were in for a major overhaul in finances, housing, banking, the Stock Market--everywhere we looked there was going to be a problem--and there was. Sometimes I wonder how any of us are still standing after we lost so much of our nest egg. The best I can offer for all of us is to continue to dig into our soul core to recover our spiritual equilibrium. Vedanta taught me that most of our difficulties are mired in illusion. It seems that we think we have to have this and that, and we don't. It has been my experience that if the best things in life aren't free at least they don't have to involve overspending, drinking and carousing. I know that I am going to pray more to live in God's will and use good sense to decide what I do with my time and money. Those who know me well know that I am not an alarmist; fear is not how to face more challenging times, rather a faith that God has not brought you this far to forget you. One of the fringe benefits of paying off revolving credit was to adopt the mantra: "If I don’t have it I don't need it." For those of you seeking a bottom line analysis and interpretation for this Cardinal T-Square, relationships, both personal and professional will be tested to the limits. Look to see if you are paying too high a price to maintain the status quo. As one of my Birmingham friends told me this week, she thinks that we are in for collapse and rebuilding in all sectors: infrastructure, government, financial, job markets--everywhere-- better than before. I think she meant in all our affairs. What intuitively hits me is that there is so much polarization going on in the country that something has to give. My opinion is that nobody wants to give up what they have. The Me Greed Generation has come out swinging, groveling for every dollar they think they are entitled to have. I remind all of you that it is about all of us not just the chosen few.

FIRE SIGNS
ARIES (March 20 – April 19) Okay, it is show time for you Aries. Soon you will know whether you have been building your house on bedrock or a mudslide. If you have ever been tested it has been nothing like what lies ahead for you. You'll have a lot of planetary help but the bottom line is that you must develop a consciousness that includes all of us. The reason you have been hearing so many gloom and doom messages is that you have always suffered from 'it's all about me,' except for those of you who do everything for everybody else and forget yourself. Jupiter and Uranus opposing you will force you to weigh and balance your options.
LEO (July 22 – August 22) If you were thinking of trying to increase your personal fortunes, this is not the time to do that. Hold on to what you have. Just because you are getting trines from Jupiter and Uranus and a sextile to Saturn, don't get too cocky about how smart you are. What is coming up this cycle is foreboding for all signs. A wise philosophy says that when you are tested the most with your financial bottom line, share what you have in order to see your bounty grow. Or as my favorite axiom advises, "Receive to share."
SAGITTARIUS (November 22 – December 20) If any sign can reap the benefits of "what this way cometh" in the Leo Cycle it is Sagittarius. 'The dogs bark and the caravan moves on' was written for you Archers because you do not possess too tightly what others crave and cry for. Known as the" Spiritual Crusader" this cycle is for you to understand what you are supposed to do from here on out. Don't forget that the elusive 2012 deadline occurs in Sagittarius. You are savvy enough to realize that so much of life is a test to see what you know from what you've been snookered into believing.
EARTH SIGNS
TAURUS (April 20 – May 20) The Lords of Karma don't worry too much about Taurus and their money. No one can hold onto it quite like you Bulls. However, you are going to be tested this month to see if you have joined the Greedy Bunch and stayed too long in the Market. Most of you are going to be rehabbing your houses, putting on an addition or sprucing up the grounds to get ready to put it on the market. There is so much inventory on the sales block that you will buy and sell in a flash. May I remind you tough nuts to ask three people tomorrow what you can do for them?
VIRGO (August 23 – September 22) Don't exhale and sit down too quickly just because Saturn is leaving your sign for 30 years. The purpose of what Saturn tried to teach you must be put into practice. Pray for God to clear your cluttered head and open your heart. Have daily thanksgiving for what you have left and never pout when God does not give you everything on your Wish List. I can tell you from personal experience I got a lot of things that self-will and a credit card gave me when God said, "No!" Your good fortune is that you are possibly more balanced left brain, right brain.
CAPRICORN (December 21 – January 19) I don't know one Capricorn who has felt anchored, locked and sealed since Pluto came into your lives January 2008. No matter who you think you are and what you are suppose to do, more will be revealed soon. Look around and see what we collectively are faced with and you get an idea of what has been assigned to you. You are still in the midst of major reconstruction in all areas of your life. Your character of being detached and cool as the proverbial cucumber under trying times will continue to serve you well. You will win in the bigger picture.
AIR SIGNS
GEMINI (May 21 – June 20) You have been looking for the right time to pay off and save more and now is the time. There are fortunes coming your way for all the hard work you have put in. Look for a windfall the middle of August when all those planets are going to shower you with the horn of plenty. A caution: stay focused and do what is right in front of you. First things first will hold you in good stead. Have you ever heard the adage, 'one man's meat is another man's poison?' You are about to feast on all that is healthy and tastes yummy. Don't forget to share.
LIBRA (September 23 – October 22) If momma left in the middle of the night and you discovered that your business partner cleaned out the bank account, let me remind you that there is no "Suddenly, my wife left me..." "My business partner, out of the clear blue, turned into a crook." Whatever happens in our lives has been going on for a long time. There is no "suddenly." It is the movement of planets and the energy they unleash that serves as a timing device to get what you deserve. It might be time to downsize and economize. A call to your accountant and checking back in with your 12-step brothers and sisters might help you see the light of day.
AQUARIUS (January 20 – February 17) You are the one sign that might max out all the positive benefits of the Cardinal T-Square August 1. Since you live outside the box and walk to the beat of a different tune than the rest of us, trines and sextiles will put you right where you have been trying to go for a long time. Soon Neptune will leave you free and clear of all the airy-fairy notions it likes to sell to the masses. You write the songs and you architect how we get to the next level. Stay stone cold sober and you will amaze yourself with what comes your way.
WATER SIGNS
CANCER (June 21 – July 21) If you begin to feel like you have been caught between a hurricane and a tornado, sit and wait for the force of nature to pass. The Solar Eclipse New Moon on July 11 gave you an open door to try something new. The Cardinal T-Square on August 1 is going to make you think the door has been slammed shut. All of these aspects from the Stars are going to ultimately get you to where God has been trying to take you but your control button wouldn't let Him. Turn it all over to whomever you consider your Higher Power and all will be as He wants it and you will eventually see the divine design in the plan.
SCORPIO (October 23 – November 21) Since all of my planets in Pisces are in the natural 8th House of Scorpio, not only do I relate to you but I also have more close friends born in your sign. You will use your sixth sense to weather whatever rains on you this month. You were not named the Caretaker of others' finances for nothing, and the intuition to move out of harm's way and make the best of a down stock market is one of your strongest gifts. My hunch tells me that all of you have begun something new and reachable and have let go of what was frustrating you.
PISCES (February 18 – March 19) Just when you thought you were through with the rock and roll uncertainty of the earthquake planet, Uranus, your ruler Neptune is about to settle into your sign for umpteen years. If you turn your will and your life over to the care of a God of your own understanding, don't spend more than you make and face down your compulsions, you might find what you have been looking for all your life: purpose. This could be the best times of your life if you remember that your life is none of your business and to take orders only from the clear and conscious still voice of intuition.
