The Solar Eclipse New Moon the day after Thanksgiving at 2 degrees of Sagittarius and the Lunar Eclipse Full Moon on December 10 at 18 degrees of Gemini will now let us all settle down and move forward with the lessons we learned. It is interesting that Mercury went direct very near the degree of the Solar Eclipse. All of this means that Sagittarians are going to run with the Bulls and take their place in the Winner's Circle. And you don't have to have a horse in the race to pick up your winnings. There is a New Moon on Christmas Eve at 02 degrees of Capricorn, making a powerfully positive aspect to Pluto at 07 degrees of Capricorn and Jupiter at 00 degrees of Taurus, which will go direct on Christmas Day. For early degree Earth Signs and somewhat Water Signs, these aspects signal a great beginning for the New Year. We should be able to go into 2012 with greater hope than we had most of 2011. For most of the Capricorn Cycle, starting Christmas until January 20 there will be no retrograde planets. The caution is that when we have all planets in direct motion there is no place to hide and all planetary energies are full speed ahead. Get ready to keep pace and to do what you need to do to make your game plan work for you.

ARIES (March 20 – April 19) Granny use to say 'if the world gives you lemon, make lemon meringue pie.' Since we are all trying to eat gluten-free, take the hand life has dealt you and create something revolutionary and workable. You have been waiting for your Shazam moment, so here it is. Uranus demands that you withstand the shake, rattle and roll to find the treasures that the movement of the earth exposed for you to use. With Saturn soon to leave its opposition to you, let the freedom and no constraints inspire you to do something for the good of us all. LEO (July 22 – August 22) All guideposts from astrology indicate times of the year best-suited for each sign. Capricorn is not the best of seasons for a lot of reasons for Leo. You are summer but find yourself in the dead of winter. You might want to review your portfolio and see if it is time to cool your tendency to believe in the tooth fairy, i.e., keep your money in your wallet and enjoy the football bowl games and the Super Bowl from the comfort of your den and let others take a chance with an off-track bet. And you might want to let the stock market perk a little longer before you jump in. SAGITTARIUS (November 22 – December 20) No one likes to see Sagittarius released from its tether or to see you Archers catch a strong wind under your sails. Since Mercury is not direct in motion this Solar Cycle go for the gold; do not remain inert or spinning your wheels. I always like to say that if there is something to reincarnation I am coming back a Sag. These free-range chickens will jack you up and change your oil and then laugh and scratch over dinner or treat you to a night at the opera. Oh, and Sags love sports. Boys and girls, enjoy the playoffs and bowl games but keep your moolah in your pockets. Now is not the time to throw caution to the wind. |

TAURUS (April 20 – May 20) Now that Jupiter is about to go in direct motion in Taurus shake a leg and make some solid financial choices for you and the ones you love. With your ruling planet Venus slithering in a square position to you, think outside the box and practice flexibility and open-minded patience. You continue to benefit from Pluto in Capricorn and Mars is going to be in Virgo for several months. Get a second and third opinion before you put your life's savings in any financial program. But this is going to be one of the best periods of the year for money cents and sense. VIRGO (August 23 – September 22) Okay Virgo, now is the time to put your best foot forward. If you have been feeling like it is time to move on in your career, retool your resume. If you have come to the end of the line in a relationship, give him (or her) a proactive message that the shelf life of your time together has expired. Remake your world exactly like you want it to be. You have been languishing long enough--change the things you can and make your life better. Time to lose the weight, sign in and start your new regimen. Jump start spring cleaning and repaint and rearrange the furniture. Please you and others will fall into agreement. CAPRICORN (December 21-January 19) It has been many moon since Capricorn has had such an anchor, lock and seal power ball future. With all the trends toward firm foundation and less risky business, the stars seem to be blessing you Goats more than ever. GEMINI (May 21 – June 20) That Solar Eclipse New Moon at 02 degrees of Sagittarius the day after Thanksgiving and the Lunar Eclipse Full Moon at 18 degrees of Gemini on December 10 were real, stark and cold-calculated doozies. They were trying to remind you to listen to your own still small voice and turn off the noise that others make. And these eclipses are telling you one more time to stop caring what others think, much less how you ought to row your boat. Give it another 30 days and you will be flying higher than a 747. That's when life is gonna get real good for you Twins! LIBRA (September 23 – October 22) You'll be doing an Irish jig this Solar Cycle with Venus in Aquarius and Mercury in Sagittarius. Saturn continues in its exaltation in Libra. Saturn is a planet of manifestation, of drawing down ideas from the imagination and giving them concrete form. Since Saturn is at home in the sign of Libra, all sides of the matter are considered before action is taken (this is also a quality that comes naturally to Saturn.) In Libra Saturn is forced to consider others, to realize that any achievement needs to take place within the wider context of personal relationships. In other words, it is about all of us not just about you. AQUARIUS (January 20 – February 17) Some forecasts last a few hours and others have the promise of the gift that keeps on giving. Uranus is in Aries which makes a super duper blowback to you Water Bearers. Since you wear the banner of iconoclast and independent thinker proudly, do your part to make sure that you know what crusades you support and which ones you need to back away from. CANCER (June 21 – July 21) If you have managed to resign from the yo-yo team and have learned to accept life on life's terms, you are going to love this Capricorn cycle. No, you're not going to love the cold reality of cement and steel--you prefer chestnuts roasting on an open fire or an apple pie rising in the oven--but sometimes your rollercoaster riders need a whiff of playing the hand as it's dealt. The Full Moon on January 9, 2012 at 18 degrees of Cancer is going to jump-start your year in the way it should go. This is the year when all of us are going to have to act contrary to our innate nature. Hint: A Capricorn nature, calm and cool, is in your future. SCORPIO (October 23 – November 21) You'll have so much cooperation as the New Year dawns that you'll finally believe that Santa Claus did come to see you this year or at least there truly is a Fairy Godmother. Ease into your new project with a smile on your face and determination in your heart. Clean out your emotional closet to make sure you're not still chewing on an old resentment. If I had a theme for you in 2012 it would be languish in your successes but do not wallow in self-contentment. There is always room for change and a way to make good better. PISCES (February 18 – March 19) You may not be as prepared as you act like you are--after all no one is more of a put-on than you Fishes--but very soon you will be called upon to dream dreams that not only can come true but which can change the world you touch. There was no end of the Mayan Calendar and you know it better than anyone in the band. Since the world is waiting for someone to hit the right note, you might as well open your mouth and let those that have ears resonate with what you have come to sing to them. All of that hard work is soon to pay off. Suit up and show up, the curtain is about to rise on your show of shows! |
