Signs of the Times--Is the End of the World at hand? Is the world about to go up in a cloud of nuclear smoke and is California about to slip into the Pacific Ocean? The answers are no, no and absolutely not. Are humongous changes, some excruciatingly painful, upon us? As right as rain. Get ready.

WARNING! The countdown to the cracking and breaking of the primordial celestial egg starts with three eclipses from June 1 to July 1. Nothing is more powerfully impacting and life altering in the Stars than Eclipses. If you are living as someone not in alignment with divine law, you might experience your own Rubicon.

During a Solar Eclipse, the Moon gets between the Sun and the Earth, and casts its shadow on the Earth, blocking out the Sun for a few minutes. During a Lunar Eclipse, the Earth gets between the Sun and the Moon, casting its shadow on the Moon. Solar eclipses occur during New Moons, and Lunar Eclipses occur during Full Moons.

Eclipses always mean crisis. Now, crisis is not necessarily a bad thing; however, wherever an eclipse falls in your chart is an area of life that is going to undergo some change, or at least require more of your time and attention than usual for the next five months or so. (Or for the rest of your life according to the Major Consciousness Shift that is already stirring and chopping and blending and pureeing in the precious now.)

Solar eclipses are far more important than Lunar Eclipses. The house where the Solar Eclipse falls in your chart will be the main focus of crisis for the next five months (or for all eternity!). The house where the Lunar Eclipse falls (usually the opposite house) will be a secondary area of crisis.

There is a Solar Eclipse New Moon on June 1 at 11 degrees of Gemini, which signals new opportunities and better beginnings for Gemini, and will powerfully affect Aquarius and Libra as well as Aries, Leo and Sagittarius. If you were born between May 21 and June 20 this is the best time of the year for you to switch jobs, buy or sell a house and generally get on stronger footing.

Looking ahead: There is a Lunar Eclipse Full Moon on June 15th at 24 degrees of Sagittarius, which will mean that it is time for closure on key affairs for you Archers but the Lunar Eclipse will have a less severe challenge to Aries and Leo and Gemini, Aquarius and Libra. There will be a Solar Eclipse New Moon at 9 degrees of Cancer on July 1, which will give Cancer a leg up with all the deals on the table for them. Other water signs, Scorpio and Pisces will benefit as well, with minor blowback for Taurus, Virgo and Capricorn.

FIRE SIGNS

ARIES (March 21 – April 20)--Rams of the Zodiac, start your engines. The eclipses are about to rocket you into the fast lane. Rock and roll and sell your wares. Take a deep whiff of the sweet smell of success. Watch your knee jerk tendencies when the deals are too good to be true. You have a month to score and save the loot. July 1's Solar Eclipse New Moon in Cancer will bring your hootenanny to a screeching halt. If you stay too long at the fair don't say we didn't warn you.

LEO (July 22 – August 22)--This is not a solar cycle for the High and Mighty to preen but you may come out of your rat hole of shame and show your face and offer your well-thought-out proposal.  The Solar Eclipse on June 1 will make up for the poor performance you've had mismanaging your assets. The Lunar Eclipse on June 15 will benefit you as well. Take yes for an answer and don't forget to tithe 20 percent.

SAGITTARIUS (November 22 – December 20)--If the job has run the gamut from A to Boredom and you find that you need a change of scenery, mid-June is the time to move. Make sure you are not running from anything rather going to something or someone worth the hassle.  Check your decision with someone with a sane head and honesty as his best policy. Many times you run before you review the map.

EARTH SIGNS

TAURUS (April 21 – May 20)--You will have all the good stars in the heavens smiling on you until June 8. But then Jupiter moves into the Sign of the Bull all year long. You have been enjoying the good ship lollipop for so long the rest of the Zodiac has forgotten what it tastes like. A word of caution is due you: Feel the power of expansive Jupiter in Taurus all summer--but on August 29 the ride is over for a while. Jupiter goes retrograde until December 27.

VIRGO (August 23 – September 22)--You may feel like hiding your head in the sand this month because both eclipses will bash your best intentions like a tornado or hurricane. You might want to do some serious reading or rewrite your script until the planetary mish-mash is over. July 1's Solar Eclipse in Cancer will lift your spirits and cause your net worth to increase. Exercise patience and thank God for what is still intact.

CAPRICORN (December 21 – January 19)--Pluto is still making marks on your soul and Saturn is grinding away at you from the sign of Libra. The best news we can offer is that with Venus and Mars in harmony with you for a few weeks, cash in what you need to keep the machinery moving in the right direction. Whatever you do keep moving. There is nothing like inertia to make you review the past and get acid reflux for your effort.

AIR SIGNS

GEMINI (May 21 – June 20)--The Twins will have to put their heads together and make smart choices about the opportunities that are presenting themselves this month. Find a good counselor to go over the pros and cons and when you make up your mind, go for the gold! This is truly the time of your life all year so make the most of it. If anything can go right, it will. Thank God from whom all blessings flow.

LIBRA (September 23 – October 23)--Saturn may be sitting on top of your head and all those planets in Aries in April and May dented your high hopes--and may I mention Pluto in Capricorn making an unwelcomed attack on your serenity? All is not lost. You get all the benefits from the Solar and Lunar Eclipses June 1 and June 15. Tread lightly but see if you can make headway with a partnership that seems to have soured. If it is with the opposite sex, as they say in Brooklyn, fahgeddaboudit. 

AQUARIUS (January 20 – February 17)--As you get more of those cosmic clues to this Great Phenomenon known as 2012, make sure it is not some alien on a runaway space ship messing with your mind. You are famous for your spiritual connections so make a transmission to the God of your own understanding to keep you middle-of-the-road with this hoopla until all the votes have been counted. Stay in tune with your heartbeat.

WATER SIGNS 

CANCER (June 21 – July 21)--Keep your eyes on the prize. July 1 has the same wow factor for you that it had for Gemini on June 1. Check your controlling tendencies at the door and enter the land of milk and honey in a positive frame of mind. There has been too much disappointment in your life for a few years to let this slip away from you. If it deals with affairs of the dear departed, now you can get top dollar for what they left behind. And if it is a new job or home, start packing and call the movers.

SCORPIO (October 24 – November 21)--Mercury and Venus in Taurus on May 15 may have overshadowed your best-laid plans--but wait until July 1 to make your move. Planetary crossfire gives you the opportunity to stay out of harm's way. If you've got a graduation to attend, show up like the belle of the ball, and have one. If there's a wedding, stay out of the bride's klieg lights. July 1 you start a run of show that will be hard to shutter.

PISCES (February 19 – March 20)--Your ruler, Neptune has come home to roost for umpteen years. It will slide back into Aquarius August 5 and stay there until early 2012. If you have ever wanted to hum along with the mystical spheres of the celestial realms now is your time to learn the tunes. June could be a bit upsetting as the eclipses will not favor water and earth. Have no fear. Come July 1 you will be back in the Mormon Tabernacle Choir singing the Hallelujah Chorus. Om Tat Sat Om.
