Greetings Friends!Enjoy the Libra Newsletter for 2011!Signs of the Times-- The best news for the Libra cycle is that Mars will be in Leo for the whole month. Leo and Libra are perfect Zodiac allies to make sure that energies are more positive and productive in all sectors. The downside of the month are all the retrograde planets: Jupiter in Taurus, Uranus in Aries, and Neptune in Aquarius. Pluto will have gone direct in Capricorn on September 16th. There will be a New Moon at 4 degrees of Libra on September 27 which will stimulate and favor not only Libra, but Gemini and Aquarius and Fire Signs, Aries, Leo and Sagittarius. There will be a Full Moon on October 11 at 18 degrees of Aries which will portend outcomes and endings for Aries and Libra, causing trouble also for Cancer and Capricorn. By September 25th the Sun, Mercury, Venus and Saturn will all be in Libra for a few weeks which should have a very powerful affect on Libra generally. To have all personal planets clustered in Libra with the New Moon at 4 degrees of Libra on September 27 there can be a lot of peaceful resolutions for this sign generally and for the country as the New Moon in Libra will trine the natal Aquarian Moon in the chart of the United States. It is about time the heavens smiled on the land of the Red, White and Blue! An updated opinion on the looming and somewhat ominous 'end of the Mayan Calendar 2012'. Dr. Carl Calleman, the latter day self-appointed engineer and scientist who has picked up the mantle and carried the gauntlet of the Mayan movement, purports that we are in the Ninth Wave, the most powerful and consciousness shifting of all the Waves. There is little doubt that the sleeplessness and uncenteredness that many have been feeling is a manifestation that the old paradigms that World View Egocentricity has fostered and fed is dying and fading faster than the speed of light. There is a new day dawning but it has been emerging since Adam bit Eve's apple. I mount the claim that to hold onto old worn-out mannerisms of the decadent and empty past will be like the decision to stay on the Titanic as it slips into the ocean. I will address where we are in evolution (or devolution) in Ottawa, Canada when I address a group at St. Paul University on October 21 and hold a conference at L'Arche on October 22 pm You're Not Who You Think You Are.

FIRE SIGNS
ARIES (March 21 – April 20)--With the storm clouds gathering the first of October for the Ram, I would batten down the hatches and wait to see if you are under the cloud of a later-season hurricane or that it was just time to take a break from the fast lane. If you would ever learn that October is not your best season of the year you might be able to hide and wait for better planetary aspects. With your ruler, Mars, in Leo for the month you might take a stab at grabbing the golden ring. But never forget that all that glitters is not gold--it could be Fool's Gold.
LEO (July 22 – August 22)--Don't lose your mind or the money you've got left on some turn of pitch and toss. Better still, curb your appetite for thrills and spills and catch a movie or invite friends over for an old-fashioned game of Monopoly or Charades. Keep your credit card in your wallet and let someone else treat you to an ice cream cone of a cafe latte. I know you like to be the entertainer and you like to show people your largesse but I would reconsider and think about tomorrow. You might need to buckle up and hunker down for slimmer profits and bumpier economic rides on Wall Street.
SAGITTARIUS (November 22 – December 20)--You have never been known to monitor your butterflies-and-bee's brain but it might not be a bad idea to turn a leaf and rewrite your script. This solar cycle you will be in high cotton and you'll start to think the sun rises and sets on you and your magnificence. Get up and get out of bed because you're dreaming, and it might even be a nightmare with a frightening wake-up call. As long as you have your head in the clouds listening for God's will for your life--with your feet planted on terra firma, you'll be okay. It is okay to pick up the hoes and start cleaning out the weeds and other detritus.
EARTH SIGNS
TAURUS (April 21 – May 20)--With Jupiter retrograde in your sign for several more months it is best to continue to make prudent decisions especially about your discernible income. Invest on the down side to protect whatever money you have left. The universe is not raining on your parade--it is sending a clarion call to all of us that the days of wine and roses and fat-cat living is over for eternity. Better you invest in yourself and let someone else take a chance on Dow Jones. Never forget that you are one of the indomitable sings of the Zodiac. Do not go against your innate nature.
VIRGO (August 23 – September 22)--You can't get away from being picky and critical of yourself and others, but when Neptune slithers back into Pisces for 14 long and winding years it will only magnify your libelous behavior. You should still bear the scars, as well as learned your lessons when Saturn was in Virgo for a painful and stressful two and a half years. Put your best foot forward and smile even if your face cracks. It is time to join the Hallelujah Chorus and see what's right with the world and all those live in it, including you, Miss or Mister Pluperfect!
CAPRICORN (December 21 – January 19)--Do you sometimes think you are building the proverbial mousetrap that couldn't snare a drowning rat? Do you have thoughts that all your hard work and the patience of Job are all for naught? Never fear. The pyramids took decades to build (no matter what the UFO wing nuts think) and the universe is still trying to detoxify itself from the love of money and to accept the axiom that it is about all of us and just not 'the rich getting richer and the poorer staying right where they have always been.' Your day in the sun is coming, sooner than you think.
AIR SIGNS
GEMINI (May 21 – June 20)--Fly and soar and risk. Now is the time to draw on all the stored-up energy that you need to expend in order to grow and build for your future. Let's take a tally and see why this is such a fortuitous season of the year for Gemini. Sun, Mercury, Venus and a New Moon in Libra in trine to you Twins. Mars is in Leo for the month of October and it makes wow-power sextile to your Sun sign. All systems are go so what are you waiting for. Everything may not come up roses but whatever it is it's fragrant and beautiful and rewarding. Have a great 30 days!
LIBRA (September 23 – October 23)--Your fortunes should skyrocket with all the planets in your sign. There is always caution with any favorable forecast because some people never know when to take their winnings and leave the gaming tables. What is working in your section of the Zodiac is that for those who have cleared away the wreckage of their past, the present and near-future is going to look a lot rosier. Enjoy it while it lasts. But more importantly you people who are ruled by the Scales of Justice can uncover and cling to the peace that passeth all understanding because it emanates from your Soul Core--where God lives.
AQUARIUS (January 20 – February 17)--This is your time to rise and shine but don't forget to run your grand ideas by a committee to see if your notions can fly--or if you've got to go back to the drawing board. You were born to think outside the box and walk to the beat of your own drummer--unless your outside is cuckoo-ville and your melody is the raucous discordance of heavy metal. We are moving closer to the big "Aha" moment when more people than Aquarians will begin to understand the game of life is about receiving to share and that there's no place like home--the soul core within each of us.
WATER SIGNS
CANCER (June 21 – July 21)--You do not need to pull the covers over your head or sit in the corner and pout. It's just time for more even-handed interaction amongst all of those in your life. You know you like to pull strings and hold the television clicker but now it is time to have others tell you what to do and watch what pleases others. With Mars in Cancer for several weeks what has been more disturbing is the anger you've felt and how people, places and things have rankled more than usual. Be patient. God made you and you will rule the roost again, kinder, softer and gentler, please.
SCORPIO (October 24 – November 21)--There have been a lot of sleepless nights and fret and worry for you Scorpions and you have begun to doubt a lot of people and other stuff that has been cluttering your life. Step out of line and inventory what you want to keep and what has to go. If it is a life partner or the boss at work, take a deep breath and consider your options when you hand in your resignation or pick up your purse and leave the homestead. Some things look darkest before the sun comes shining through. Get quiet and go inside where you'll find saner answers.
PISCES (February 19 – March 20)--If you think that Neptune, your ruling planet, has gone bye-bye, think again. You are about to know what it's like for Neptune to be in Pisces 14 years. It underlines and italicizes the notion: 'Is it illusion or spirituality?' 'Do you see the world differently because of a transcendent awakening or have you been drinking or drugging yourself into an altered and unreal perception?'
