A New Book September 2006
You're Not Who You Think You Are
Albert's new book - Coming in Sept '06

by Albert Clayton Gaulden
Author of Signs and Wonders

Foreword by James Redfield
Author of The Celestine Prophecy

Killing Words

Harsh words are like daggers; they cut and they kill the soul. The next time you want to unload on someone, take a deep breath and look in the mirror. Where is this character assassination coming from? Why do you have so much jealousy?

There was a man who said a lot of harmful things about his rabbi. One day the man goes to the rabbi and says, "Rabbi, I have said a lot of bad things about you. Will you forgive me? The rabbi told the man to take a down pillow to the highest hill, slit it open and scatter the feathers. The man did as he was told, then went back to the rabbi and said, "Now do you forgive me?" The rabbi answered "Now go and retrieve the feathers."

The story of the rabbi and the man reminds me of the Rubaiyat of Omar Khayyam:

The moving fingers write; and having writ,
Moves on; nor all your piety nor wit
Shall lure it back to cancel half a line,
Nor all your tears wash out a word of it.

Think before you speak. Practice restraint of tongue and pen.

The Signs of the Times

The Sun went into Gemini on May 21 and will enter the sign of Cancer June 21. There will be a fresh start for the sign of the cosmic twins with a New Moon in Gemini on May 27th. Jupiter, Neptune and Pluto will be retrograde all summer which means that the dog days of summer will come earlier this year. The theme for May-June is "mind your mouth." Sell to the ceiling whether it's real estate, stocks and bonds or automobiles-but you better conduct business with integrity or you'll be sorry. To help you move into the long, hot summer, learn to meditate. Take a yoga class. Overall, this time of the year favors Geminis, Librans, Aquarians, Arians, Leos and Sagittarians.

ARIES (March 20 - April 19)
You may think that you have a license to run up and down sidewalks; that the world is your oyster this month. It may be true that all your roadmaps lead to buried treasure-the trine from Saturn in Leo is enough to make you want to over-extend your options. But Mars in Cancer until June 2 may knock the wind from your sails. Slow down and listen to the still small voice of intuition.

TAURUS (April 20 - May 20)
Your best days are not behind you, but planetary trends advise you to stick to what you've got. Taureans are not the fastest signs in the zodiac-but when you want to see a crop flourish, the bulls are the ones who can plant it. You are still in the readjustment phase of your spiritual development, so look to see what stays and what has to go. Best days for you are May 24, 25; 29 & 30; June 2 & 3; 12 & 13.

GEMINI (May 21 - June 20)
Ride 'em cowboys and girls-the sun shines bright on the range for you this month. Open your mouth, and if you have checked your honesty meter and see that you are to be trusted, nothing can stop you in this planetary cycle. Since you have the cosmic deck stacked in your favor, double check your male and female balancing act. Make sure you are not trying to be something you're not. Not to worry - your friends and your enemies will take your inventory anyway.

CANCER (June 21 - July 21)
I hate to be the one to break the news to you, in-control and moody Moon child, but all those arguments that you've been having-look to yourself. Mars has been in Cancer for a few weeks. Mars picks fights and stirs the fudge every chance it can get. To be on the side of conciliation, do something you're not famous for: make an amends. Otherwise, you might find that no one wants to eat your cooking or play ball with you this month.

LEO (July 22 - August 22)
I know you think that life is anchor, lock and seal in all the best things in life for you kings and queens of the zodiac. However, with Saturn in Leo for another year you may want to accept the inevitable and change the things you can: Yourself. Saturn gets a bad rap but without this Lord of Karma you lions and lionesses would get fat and sassy from too much of the good life. Go on a diet. Save, not spend. Read a good book and forgo that lavish vacation. Nothing is forever, so learn from the lessons of Saturn.

VIRGO (August 23 - September 22)
With a Lunar Eclipse Full Moon at 15 degrees of Pisces on the 7th of September and a Solar Eclipse New Moon at 29 degrees of Virgo on the 22nd, you will have more than time on your hands in September. Although your nature is too critical for most of us to bear, you will be forced to soften a bit with these eclipses. To tell the truth, this could be the time of your life-taking the steps to make you a kinder, softer, gentler soul. To celebrate the new you, throw a party; better yet, have it catered.

LIBRA (September 23 - October 22)
Take your white knuckles off the steering wheel of life and lighten up. With Saturn making the best aspect to you balanced types, your best paid plans can finally pay off. If these were my transits, I would reap what I had been sowing all year. Libra has the chance to love life and all it has to offer this month. May I remind you not to take yourself so seriously? If people start taking your advice, though, watch out. Your insights may come back to bite you.

SCORPIO (October 23 - November 21)
With Saturn squaring you lovers of the dark and dank, it may be time to turn on the lights to see whether you have been making a mess or if your world is tidier than you think. Although you are known to prefer a one-on-one tete a tete, you might want to sign up for group therapy to widen your social circle. Seriously, with the trine from the Lunar Eclipse in September, you might have made the corrections you've needed to convince more people of your point of view.

SAGITTARIUS (November 22 - December 20)
I know you think you are a free-range chicken with divine rights to pluck and cluck in everybody else's backyard, but it may be time to slow down and correct any egghead ideas that aren't working. Every sign has two major lunations and yours are cautioning you to stick with what you've got. The minute you decide to take a slow boat to China, the bank may say you don't have the money to roam. For Christmas, give the ones you love something you made with your own hands. They've wanted something real from you for a lot of Christmases.

CAPRICORN (December 21 - January 19)
The next time someone calls you a slow poke, show them your bottom line-you make your money the old fashioned way: "Neither a borrower nor a lender be." You have finally gotten to the place in your life where it is okay to treat yourself. The planetary cycle begs you to upgrade your car or redo your wardrobe. Want to see how the other half lives? Buy a round-trip ticket for two to Spain, China or Timbuktu. Remember the old adage: You can't take it with you. Be good to you. Live a little.

AQUARIUS (January 20 - February 19)
If you ever wanted to be rewarded for all your service work, this is the solar cycle where you'll be recognized for all you do. Known for your rigorous independence, it's not a bad idea to listen to the other point of view-it's okay to be a team player. Step away from doing for others only and let the klieg light shine on you for a change. If your life has been lacking in the romance department, listen to what a newcomer has to say. It may be that he or she is asking you out on a date.

PISCES (February 20 - March 19)
With the earthquake planet, Uranus, in your Sun sign, you may think you're living on the San Andreas Fault line. But there's an upside to all the rock and roll going on in your life: what you won't get rid of, God will. You leaners, dreamers and schemers had better get ready for a dose of reality because Pluto squaring Pisces will clean out your closet even if you won't. But there's good news: for all who survive these transits, life is going to get real good real soon.

As Albert Sees It

Paranormal phenomena, puzzles, mysteries, paradoxes are found in the silent and invisible worlds. They have been the underpinning of my search to know the truth, who we are and what is the meaning of our lives. Where are the clues to explain our life's purpose? That may seem a lot to wrap your mind around, but they are the only questions I know worth asking. Although I work and own a house and love to travel, it is the mystery of revelation that makes me come alive. Exploring caves and tombs in Egypt or flying over the active volcano on the Big Island of Hawaii, tapping into my intuition, finding answers in dreams, and distinguishing meaningful synchronicities from chance coincidences are spellbinding clues that open me up to who God created me to be.

What I have discovered is that each of us, no matter how distinguished we may be in the eyes of the world or how completely anonymous we are-rich or poor-smart or simple-we each have a purpose and we each must take a journey to find the answers to the questions we pose to the Universe.

As Scott Sees It

Do you need an answer for an important decision, yet can't decide which of the opposing thoughts is right for you? Sit down, take several deep breaths, empty your mind, and simply listen. The answer may not come immediately, but it will reveal itself perhaps in ten minutes, ten hours, or ten days. In my experience, the voice of intuition is the whispering thought - the one that will pass me by if I am not paying close attention - the ah-ha moment. The loud, charged, screaming voice is the ego stemming from a fear-based control drama.

We all have decisions and choices to make daily, whether they be little or big. Clearing away the clutter so you can hear the still small voice is the most effective path to making clearer decisions.
