Albert's new book - Coming in Sept '06

by Albert Clayton Gaulden
Author of Signs and Wonders

Foreword by James Redfield

We've experienced a delay in the launch of You're Not Who You Think You Are.  The new publication date for this exciting new book is December 13, 2006.

Righting Wrongs

Rosh Hashanah, the Jewish New Year and the Solar Eclipse New Moon at 29 degrees of Virgo occur on the same day this year which I feel is significant for all of us no matter how and where we worship. Rosh Ha-Shana and the eclipse signify a time to “fess” up—come clean about the wrongs you have committed against yourself and others. At no other time in history have we more needed to see what we have done to create the chaos in the world. Start by making amends to those closest to you: a family member or a friend. Forgiveness makes life worth living.

I like the idea that it is never too late to set the record straight and to start over in a relationship with someone. When I make amends for harm I have done to myself or someone else, I always feel more empowered. Holding onto old ideas that keep us stuck with stinking thinking reaps grim consequences. Get God’s attention with the willingness to ask that the burden of bad attitude and harmful actions be lifted from you.

The Signs of the Times

The Sun enters Libra at 0:04 am EDT after the Solar Eclipse New Moon at 29 degrees of Virgo on September 22 at 7:45 am EDT. Since this is a time for looking to heal all wounds through forgiveness, all signs are put on notice to mind their p’s and q’s and seek an end to all disputes.

Under the Full Moon at 13 degrees of Aries on October 6th, all of us have an opportunity to start something new or to find the courage to be more direct in our communication. There is a New Moon at 28 degrees of Libra on October 22nd which promises breakthroughs in hostilities in the world at large and at home as well. This is a good time to stop giving too much thought to all the bad around us and start conjuring up peace and harmony. Peace always starts within us.

LIBRA (September 23 – October 22)

VirgoMake sure you’ve made amends for all your miscues by the Full Moon at 13 degrees of Aries on October 6th or else your enemies will come calling with back-up support. This planetary aspect can also stir legal troubles, so keep your attorney on speed dial. After the Full Moon, you will settle into the cool, calm customer you think you are.

SCORPIO (October 23 – November 21)

VirgoAt long last the door of opportunity opens for you, career-wise. Don’t forget to ask for what you want because you’ll hear the Hallelujah Chorus sing, “Yes, oh yes, to your request.” As the old wives tale warned, ‘Watch for what you pray for—you just might get the hand and have to play it.’ If you throw in your cards, the next chance may be a long way off.

SAGITTARIUS (November 22 – December 20)

VirgoChomping at the bit, you wild and wooly free range chickens are about to get your passports back so you can roam the world. It’s called your ruler, Jupiter, going into your Sun sign for a whole year. Call a travel agent or check in with an “OM’ group and plan a trek up the Himalayas. You may be on welfare when you get back, but for now, bask in the moment of anything goes.

CAPRICORN (December 21 – January 19)

VirgoSince the heavens are full of balance and harmony and every man deciding he’s his own authority this month, go back into your cave for thirty more days. While you’re out of the limelight, take a course in How to Live and Let Live or Is It Always Right to Be Right? Stubborn old goat that you are, learn a new trick this month. Next month you shine.

AQUARIUS (January 20 – February 17)

VirgoThe next person who calls you a weirdo, take it as a compliment. You are different. Because you were born for self-discovery and channeling your own high masters, this month the Cosmos is opening you up to all possibilities: new job, a change of residence or a new belle or beau. My suggestion: If it turns out to be a new lover, stay open minded.

PISCES (February 18 – March 20)

VirgoIf you are still alive and kicking after these last two eclipses, make something new and inventive from the rack and ruin. You were never the brightest bulb in the bunch, but even a monkey learns: the upheaval is trying to get you to widen your horizons and take a few risks. Grandma Moses was a hit after 70. Start over and get better at playing the hand life dealt you.

ARIES (March 21 – April 20)

VirgoThe Harvest Full Moon on October 6 in Aries is trying to give you your just rewards from the last few months. If you have been diligent and provided things honest in the sight of all men, you will bank a mother lode of pay-offs. If your efforts have included larceny or flimflam, you draw the card “Go straight to jail. Do not pass Go.”

TAURUS (April 21 – May 20)

VirgoOctober 8th and 9th, when the Moon is a raging bull, indulge—take a long weekend at a spa or shop ‘til you drop if you’re not over your limit. Otherwise do what you do best—trudge and accept life on life’s terms. All the planets are busy helping all the other signs. Look at it this way: some people believe the best things in life are free. Agree and make yourself feel better.

GEMINI (May 21 – June 20)

VirgoOn Yom Kippur, the Jewish Day of Atonement (October 2nd), the Moon in Aquarius favors you fun and foolish Geminis. Perfect for you to face all your fears and do it anyway—“It” being the next indicated thing. A piece of advice: Mend fences and say you were wrong. Watch the good results you’ll get from the ones you love.

CANCER (June 21 – July 22)

VirgoVenus and Mars in Libra are playing havoc with you this month, so be cautious how bossy you are—give in and let the rest of the tribe have their say-so. Mercury and Jupiter in Scorpio are giving you a reason to survive to thrive in some sectors of your life, like how to be more open-minded and let intuition lead you to see the other side of the argument.

LEO (July 23 – August 22)

VirgoYou may not believe it but Saturn in your sign is making you a better person. Oh, you may have less money (the ex- got more than he or she deserved because the judge was a crook), or you may have lost your job or your fabulous figure or physique has gone to pot, but look at it this way: everyone thinks you’re kinder and gentler—they like the new you.

VIRGO (August 23 – September 22)

VirgoNow that the earth has stopped shaking and all the damage has been done, do what you do best: clean up the mess. What the eclipse has been trying to teach you for months is that life is not a math problem and all of us are fallible, even you. After the 6th of October, you are going to find that if you don’t have it you don’t want it. Some good news on the 19th.

As Albert Sees It

Oscar-winning Actor George Clooney recently told the United Nation’s most powerful body, the Security Council, that if it did not send peacekeepers to Sudan’s Darfur region millions of people would die in what he called the first genocide of the 21st century. “After September 30, you won’t need the U.N. You will simply need men with shovels and bleached white linen and headstones,” Clooney warned.

The mandate of African Union peacekeepers in the region expires at the end of the month and the Sudanese government has refused to approve their replacement by a U.N. force. George Clooney testified that if U.N. forces were not sent to replace them, all aid workers would leave and the 2.5 million refugees who depend upon them would die.

We must be proactive and understand that Darfurians are our people although they live thousands of miles away. As Elie Wiesel urged the Security Council, “You are the last political recourse of Darfur victims and you can stop it.” Each of us can write our congressmen to register our concern for these people. And pray without ceasing. Prayer changes the minds and hearts of the most hardened among us.

As Scott Sees It

Recently two Intensive clients showed amazing courage by stepping into the arena with my horse, Magic, and as a result, they experienced some major breakthroughs. On the outside these two clients appeared as opposite as day and night: Dave, a towering six feet two inches tall athletic male, and Janet, a willowy, sophisticated southern belle.  No matter that one was male and the other female, both demonstrated extreme passive behavior, a false characteristic that was blocking their authentic fiery natures that would allow them to interact with the horse. After overcoming their initial trepidation of encountering my thousand pound free-spirited paint, both individuals won Magic’s respect and trust.

The first day both clients failed to bond with Magic because they were overly passive and did not approach the horse with authority.  It was when they each were actively assertive in their relationship with Magic that they succeeded in giving and receiving respect.  Having done so, both Janet and Dave felt empowered in their core to be fearless in relating to others, and became inspired to open up in a new way in all of their relationships.
