The Signs of the Time — There are no retrogrades in this Solar Cycle. There is a New Moon in Pisces on March 3—new beginnings. It seems that we are beginning to come to the end of the Pandemic. By June and July, it will have been diminished. There will still be fighting and fussing within the political parties. Tend to your own business and let the parties do what they’ve been doing since the Republic began, trying to win the majority and impose their will onto the people.

The best investment that I have ever made…

“I met Albert in late 1991 when my life was a mess and I did not know what to do. I went for an astrology reading reluctantly and at the end of it agreed to do the Sedona Intensive. I was in Sedona January 5-12 of 1992 and did my daily exercises and then continued with the program for 3 months upon returning home. By following Albert’s directions, even when some of it made no logical sense, my life was changed dramatically for the better over the next year. He put me on a path that I never could have imagined and I will be forever grateful for that. This eventually led to my current profession, beginning in 2005, as a life coach assisting clients in making big changes in their lives. The time and money spent with Albert all those years ago is the best investment that I have ever made and gave me insights and tools that I still use today.”

Monthly Insights for the Signs

Fire Signs

ARIES (March 21 – April 19)–Allow yourself to soften into the throbbing soreness of your memories that need some serious tending and healing. As you gear up to challenge your relationship with material and social resources, this is the year you reframe how you understand your worth and value. 2022 is about relying on communities of people that care for you and putting into action all the work you’ve been building on the past year.

LEO (July 23 – August 23)–The year ahead might skew your expectations in unexpected ways. You might find it a lot easier to come to terms with your past self that no longer resembles who you’re becoming today. Growth is good, even if it’s painful. Let yourself be brave enough to face new dreams. Hold yourself with tenderness and compassion as you nurse the people, places and situations you’re saying goodbye to.

SAGITTARIUS (November 22 – December 21)–Balancing your need for rest might be the key to thriving in 2022. Your daily life may be full of responsibilities that keep your plate weighed down, and you might be on to a new path of work that’ll bring you fresh opportunities. Remember that you are only as productive as how rested you are. By prioritizing your self-care, you can truly absorb the novel and exciting reality you’re moving through.

Earth Signs

TAURUS (April 20 – May 20)–You’re in for a period of metamorphosis as you shed untruths and fictional ideas of who you are and should be. This may bring about contrasting reactions from people around you. Still, there is overwhelming support for your sobering — but flourishing! — transformation. People who care about you want to see you thriving. As a result, 2022 is the year you only say yes when you truly mean it.

VIRGO (August 24 – September 22)–2022 could bring good people and relationships into your life, but not without your active participation. Your commitment to honoring your values and principles can give way to a kind of vulnerability that eases you into softness. Sometimes respectability cannot save you or make you feel loved, but sharing your wounds with the right people might.

CAPRICORN (December 22 – January 19)–When was the last time you thought about the allure of romance? Romantic perspective is a way of seeing and living. It doesn’t have to include human relations, necessarily, and can be about how you move through the world. For 2022, bring in more sensuality in your world. Let go of energy vampires. Watch how this helps you soften and embody a more healing point of view when engaging with your past.

Air Signs

GEMINI (May 21 – June 21)–Let yourself drift towards unclear paths and directions. 2022 might be the year for dreaming up schemes that may not yet feel wholly tangible but can plant seeds for future success and inspiration. Spend time understanding your beliefs and what your body needs so you can better support yourself in becoming the person you imagine yourself to be.

LIBRA (September 23 – October 22)–Taking risks is the theme of your year, particularly around collaborations and creative endeavors. In many ways, as much as you lean towards collaboration, you’re also a solitary and independent spirit. Sometimes, letting people in and accepting help can be an arduous task. 2022 is about admitting and receiving the care you need, not as a confirmation of your shortcomings, but as a generative affirmation of how loved you are.

AQUARIUS (January 20 – February 19)–Are you dreaming up a new home-based business idea? 2022 will invite in a brand-new income source for you, though one based on passion and true self-expression. This is the year to take your hobby of 10 years more seriously, as Jupiter and Neptune will help to expand what you thought was possible. A move to a new home or vacation rental looks promising in the spring with an eclipse breaking new ground at the base of your chart.

Water Signs

CANCER (June 22 – July 22)–2022 is the year of balancing what needs your care and attention. Some of your sources of inspiration are fading, and you’re hungry for new muses and people to exchange ideas with. Spend more time journeying this year so you can explore the greener grass on the other side. Expect slight cabin fever if you’re metaphorically and literally stuck. The key is letting yourself explore — even if in just short (and safe) bursts.

SCORPIO (October 23 – November 21)–Your intimate relationships (of all kinds, not just romantic) are undergoing significant shifts in their dynamics. This is caused by shedding old skin, and you may even feel like who you are today is unrecognizable. However, 2022 is bestowing you with the gift of grace. Lean into what brings you joy and pleasure, unashamed of how you’re perceived and received.

PISCES (February 20 – March 20)–This is your year, Pisces. If you are in the arts and creativity, you will shine like no other, as Jupiter and Neptune will stay magnetically close in your sign for much of 2022. All that time in the cocoon will begin to pay off as you reach new heights of artistic expression and recognition. With lucky Jupiter on your side, you will attract exactly what you need in life and business. The only risk is too many choices, so use discrimination. If you intend on saying yes a lot this year, just ensure you have the team and infrastructure in place and prepared. You got this, superstar.

How My Journey Began

“I have been receiving the Sedona Intensive Newsletter for many years. I was inspired by the astrological information. I never really delve into what programs were offered. I thought it was a spa in the painted desert where you could spend a week to relax and rejuvenate. I remember when I first subscribed to the newsletter, I had mentioned it to my husband and said maybe when we have some time, we could look into going there for a vacation. Little did I know what was in store for me on that Tuesday morning in December 2020 when I decided to dial the phone number listed on the newsletter to find out what the program was about and whether it would benefit me.

“Quite honestly, I was surprised when Mr. Albert Gaulden answered the phone! Surely this man has a receptionist, I thought to myself. But it was him. I, nervous – I almost hung up. Here I was talking to the man of Sedona! I was a bit intimidated at first, but after our first session, he truly put me at ease. I told him my recent story about the loss of my husband and the way I had soothed the pain of grief through alcohol. As we talked, I knew I needed to be part of this program. Albert is a straight forward, no bullshit kind of man. You either like what he has to say or you don’t. And if you don’t, he’ll tell you to go pound sand! But in a not so nice way. Albert is so passionate about the work he does and takes a true interest in each client. The homework is brutal but I have learned so much about myself and why I have experienced everything I’ve been through in my life and how it brought me to where I am today.

“One must have an open mind and be willing to hear the tough talk. There was tough talk. There was difficult self-reflection. But this program is not for sissies. You’re either going to commit – or you’re not. And if you don’t commit – this is not the program for you. It is an emotional experience with a great deal of self-reflection. This program didn’t just guide me through understanding my alcohol addiction, but it has been more beneficial in helping me deal with the overwhelming grief I have experienced over the last 2 years after the death of my husband. I am whole again.”

Moments and Windstorms: Take Back Your Power

This ground-breaking book offers an in-depth journey through the author’s eye-opening addiction to alcohol and how he eventually got sober. Gaulden has written a number of books as well as being Founding Director of the Sedona Intensive, one of the country’s most highly regarded alternative personal growth programs.

The author shares all the ways God was leading and guiding him even when he was still drinking. “Most of us look at false paradigms to measure success in our lives. So much of where I went and the jobs I took helped me remember what I was to do as my life’s work.”

Gaulden’s book is divided into five parts. Each section explores different parts of his journey, incorporating all the places he’s been, the studies he’s made and the people he’s met. His point of view is that each client who sought his help made him a better person. At the end of the book, he has some daunting but hopeful words about the conditions of the planet Earth and what we need to do to survive as a race.

What Our Clients Are Saying About The Sedona Intensive

“The Sedona Intensive was a life changing experience for me. I had been searching for happiness and serenity for over 20 years and as a result of the Intensive I found that I was looking in all the wrong places. I not only experienced what happiness and serenity truly are but now understand the process needed to maintain and enhance that state of being. It doesn’t mean that I don’t experience the ups and downs of life but what it does mean is that those downs do not even come close to impacting me the way they used to. There is now a presence of mind that provides clarity and purpose that did not exist for me prior to the Intensive.

It is impossible to put a value on such a quality of life enhancing experience that the Sedona Intensive provides the person willing to do the work.It is by far the most significant thing I have done in my 62 years.

I came across a quote last week that summed up what I experienced and learned while attending the Sedona Intensive – ‘Once you stop clinging and let things be, you’ll be free’ -Bodhidharma (440ce – 528 ce), the Zen Teaching of Bodhidharma: A Bilingual Edition.”
