The Signs of the Time — Since we are headed toward the end of the year, it is time to review where we are and better yet, where we are headed. Rather than languish in the mire and mud of political wrangling, let’s see the upside of the coming new year.

For starters, Mercury went direct on October 18 at 10 degrees of Libra. On November 6, Mercury crawls into Scorpio for three weeks. Mercury direct-in-motion, no matter the Sign, is always better news. On November 6, Venus goes into Capricorn, which means hard work, being honest with ourselves about finances, how we are saving what we’ve got left, and making sure to see the doc when physical issues crop up.

Mars will be in Scorpio throughout November. With Venus and Mars both in Scorpio in November, a lot of necessary work for the betterment of our Country will get done. The fly in the ointment will be Jupiter and Saturn in Aquarius throughout November – unknown and unforeseen problems could appear on the horizon.

Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto will bless us all without consideration of race, creed, or culture.

Never forget that what is happening all around us is not what it seems. Ask black people what it is like to wait hundreds of years for equality if you want to embrace how long good things take to come to fruition.

The best investment that I have ever made…

“I met Albert in late 1991 when my life was a mess and I did not know what to do. I went for an astrology reading reluctantly and at the end of it agreed to do the Sedona Intensive. I was in Sedona January 5-12 of 1992 and did my daily exercises and then continued with the program for 3 months upon returning home. By following Albert’s directions, even when some of it made no logical sense, my life was changed dramatically for the better over the next year. He put me on a path that I never could have imagined and I will be forever grateful for that. This eventually led to my current profession, beginning in 2005, as a life coach assisting clients in making big changes in their lives. The time and money spent with Albert all those years ago is the best investment that I have ever made and gave me insights and tools that I still use today.”

Monthly Insights for the Signs

Fire Signs

ARIES (March 19 – April 18)–The retrograde weather that has had us all integrating changes within and adjusting our daily lives in the outer world begins to disperse now, hopefully with a fresh sense of purpose and soul compass direction. The great news about Pluto direct in your 6th house and then Saturn in your 11th house, is that any indecision or inner conflict about what to do next, vanishes. You emerge from this retrograde cycle in great warrior spirit mode, filled with surety and purpose, especially when it comes to anything which impacts your career, public or professional image, status, and future.

LEO (July 23 – August 22)–The moon in Scorpio on the fifth of November says to get back to being bolder. Make the first relocation to wherever you go, send out an intro e-mail for your new purpose, or do something to claim that you’re back and better! You’re constantly ambitious, yet you have skated by a little bit this summer. Currently, the universe is asking you to step up and be in charge. The full moon on October 20 advised you to pay attention to your expanded household– you may not even have realized what a resource of support your distant relatives may be. On October 26, the sunlight adjoins Jupiter which means great opportunities are at your feet.

SAGITTARIUS (November 21 – December 20)–Innovative Archers have spent the past month concentrated on nuts and screws of particular strategies, disregarding their imaginative side. The new moon asked you to recognize that side of yourself. Take a course, walk around a museum, or otherwise hang around involved people with your right mind. When Jupiter left Scorpio and entered Libra on October 10, you faced large inquiries: Where am I, and also where do I want to be in five years? Journaling as well as connecting with good friends can assist you in responding to these concerns. And also, you do not need to have the responses all at one time!

Earth Signs

TAURUS (April 20 – May 20)–The 31st of October brings a meeting between Venus and asteroid Juno in your 9th house. Juno is all about commitment, marriage, and promises we make that we cannot easily back out of. Venus is all about the passion and pleasure of the moment. This all occurs in your 9th  house of beliefs, freedom, and opportunity. What it tells you is that it’s time to commit to the authentic version of you and to understand that true love is the freedom to be just that.

VIRGO (August 23 – September 22)–The new moon on October 5 radiated light on your financial resources, and you’ll see that small living adjustments amount to big financial savings. It deserves to take notice of invoices, credit card statements, and any checks– blunders might occur. This month is a good time to start conserving and also strategizing for a significant acquisition; the timeline might be a lot shorter than you believe. The October 20 full moon might have offered you even more rewards, in addition to some concepts for how to produce added earnings. On October 24, a Mercury-Neptune trine casts a gold light on the week ahead. Shine intense!

CAPRICORN (December 21 – January 19)–The October 5 new moon prompted you to take notice of your residence industry. Purchasing something, particularly for autumn, is a great treat and can make your home much more of a happy place. You’re always so careful with cash, which is a wonderful thing, however, at the beginning of the month, a minor financial investment can cause a major joy boost. The full moon on October 20 highlighted your work life. If you have been ignoring work or slacking off a bit, it is time to tip it up. Even if it doesn’t look like it, people are watching. Impress them. On October 24, as the moon conjoins Saturn, your personal relationship takes priority. A couple of thoughtful gestures like a “thinking about you!” message goes a long way.

Air Signs

GEMINI (May 21 – June 21)–Since Mercury is your planet ruler, this last Mercury retrograde nearly buried you. There was/is no way out of the confusion throughout October. However, with personal planets in compatible Libra, you will soon feel as if you are finally on firm ground and life is worth living. In hindsight, what happened to you during Mercury retrograde in October may have been destiny working in your favor.

LIBRA (September 23 – October 23)–Libra, this is your month! The October 5 new moon shone brightly on your heart, and you are ready for love. While you tend to be private, allow people to aid you and also set you up– they wish to aid and may have a buddy that you’ll click with. Strategize a date. It’s been too long. The full moon on October 20 inspired you to want to have a relationship. Load your schedule these few days for the new relationship in your life. On October 22, Mars enters Libra and advises you to make the most of every minute. It’s fine to be egocentric! This is a golden week; soak up every second!

AQUARIUS (January 19 – February 17)–The new moon on October 5 prompted you to hang around with family and friends. At this moment, do what they want. You’re wonderful at tending to the pace of the day, yet your friends want you to indulge in their passions, too. On October 15, as Mercury opposed Uranus, you may have had second thoughts concerning a project or suggestion. It’s alright to change direction. The work you have done hasn’t been lost, however, it may be required to double down to move forward. On October 20, it was time to think about the broad view and to also ask yourself where you want to be a year from now. Acknowledge what you enjoy in life.

Water Signs

CANCER (June 22 – July 22)–On October 20, the full moon in Libra empowered you to take the leadership reigns of your career and professional life. A contractual agreement or financial opportunity can pop up for you as a result of your past work, sweat equity, and time investment. Advancement like a raise, promotion, or step up could be in the stars for you. Regardless of what type of new commitment manifests itself, it will provide the growth and long-term stability you’ve been looking for. This is due to the full moon’s positive connection with Jupiter and Saturn in Aquarius. Remember to aim high and shoot for the stars!

SCORPIO (October 22 – November 20)–The October 5 new moon lit up your market of self-improvement. Scorpio is recognized for being perfectionistic, yet you might be entering your very own means. A 10-minute daily walk is far more efficient than waiting for the moment when you have an hour to run, which might be never. Just do something– you’ll be happy you did. On October 10, Jupiter went into Scorpio. This is a fantastic setup and brings all the best as well as a ton of money for the following year. Yet you cannot wait on things ahead of you. Be proactive as well as make a one-year plan, now. When you place your mind to it, you can manifest these goals. On October 20, and also through the end of the month, the full moon states its time to cuddle and also stay close to home. If you have been seeing a person casually, it may be time to suss out whether you must get more significant or not. Once more, taking the lead is key.

PISCES (February 18 – March 19)–Money matters were illuminated by the new moon on October 5. If you had ignored issues of money, today’s the moment to obtain points relocating. You might require to spend some time and also persistence, but it’ll pay to get the cash owed you or to lastly start a passive revenue stream. On October 10, when Jupiter left Libra and also entered emotional Scorpio, you might have felt weepy, sentimental, and unfortunate about missed possibilities. Embrace your feelings. On October 20, the full moon asked you what you could offer to another person, even an unfamiliar one. The more you offer, even if it’s simply five minutes to pay attention to somebody’s story, the better you’ll feel.

How My Journey Began

“I have been receiving the Sedona Intensive Newsletter for many years. I was inspired by the astrological information. I never really delve into what programs were offered. I thought it was a spa in the painted desert where you could spend a week to relax and rejuvenate. I remember when I first subscribed to the newsletter, I had mentioned it to my husband and said maybe when we have some time, we could look into going there for a vacation. Little did I know what was in store for me on that Tuesday morning in December 2020 when I decided to dial the phone number listed on the newsletter to find out what the program was about and whether it would benefit me.

“Quite honestly, I was surprised when Mr. Albert Gaulden answered the phone! Surely this man has a receptionist, I thought to myself. But it was him. I, nervous – I almost hung up. Here I was talking to the man of Sedona! I was a bit intimidated at first, but after our first session, he truly put me at ease. I told him my recent story about the loss of my husband and the way I had soothed the pain of grief through alcohol. As we talked, I knew I needed to be part of this program. Albert is a straight forward, no bullshit kind of man. You either like what he has to say or you don’t. And if you don’t, he’ll tell you to go pound sand! But in a not so nice way. Albert is so passionate about the work he does and takes a true interest in each client. The homework is brutal but I have learned so much about myself and why I have experienced everything I’ve been through in my life and how it brought me to where I am today.

“One must have an open mind and be willing to hear the tough talk. There was tough talk. There was difficult self-reflection. But this program is not for sissies. You’re either going to commit – or you’re not. And if you don’t commit – this is not the program for you. It is an emotional experience with a great deal of self-reflection. This program didn’t just guide me through understanding my alcohol addiction, but it has been more beneficial in helping me deal with the overwhelming grief I have experienced over the last 2 years after the death of my husband. I am whole again.”

Person of the Month: Michelangelo Giovanni Fante

This 17-year-old Los Angeles native wunderkind is a ballet Danseur in Carlisle, Pennsylvania where he lives in a Host House with several other students. Having started ballet when he was 12 years old, Giovanni has wanted to be a professional danseur from the first ballet class he took. He came to go through the Sedona Intensive a couple of weeks ago because he wanted to work through some discomforting emotional issues. By his own admission, he feels that what had disturbed him has been healed. The process that took him from confused to clarity was a combination of journaling and meditation.

“It is my hope and dream that I will soon be able to dance professionally as a ballerino, as they describe us in Italy. I welcome anyone who reads this mention in the Sedona Intensive Newsletter to reach out to me about such a possibility for me with ballet as a professional opportunity.”

Happy Birthday, Livia and Augusta Carney, better known as the Gorgeous Geniuses!

I remember it as if it were yesterday when the Carney twins were born. Through the years they have been photographed for posterity including when they received Angel Dolls at a dinner party six years ago. As only the Higher Power would have it, they escaped their birthday this year after the planet Mercury went direct. No matter what they do it will be the best, whether in the classroom, on the soccer field, play-acting or just enjoying life.

Happy Birthday, Livia and Augusta—you will always be known as the Gorgeous Twins by me and a lot of people who know you up close and personal.

Moments and Windstorms: Take Back Your Power

This ground-breaking book offers an in-depth journey through the author’s eye-opening addiction to alcohol and how he eventually got sober. Gaulden has written a number of books as well as being Founding Director of the Sedona Intensive, one of the country’s most highly regarded alternative personal growth programs.

The author shares all the ways God was leading and guiding him even when he was still drinking. “Most of us look at false paradigms to measure success in our lives. So much of where I went and the jobs I took helped me remember what I was to do as my life’s work.”

Gaulden’s book is divided into five parts. Each section explores different parts of his journey, incorporating all the places he’s been, the studies he’s made and the people he’s met. His point of view is that each client who sought his help made him a better person. At the end of the book, he has some daunting but hopeful words about the conditions of the planet Earth and what we need to do to survive as a race.

What Our Clients Are Saying About The Sedona Intensive

“The Sedona Intensive was a life changing experience for me. I had been searching for happiness and serenity for over 20 years and as a result of the Intensive I found that I was looking in all the wrong places. I not only experienced what happiness and serenity truly are but now understand the process needed to maintain and enhance that state of being. It doesn’t mean that I don’t experience the ups and downs of life but what it does mean is that those downs do not even come close to impacting me the way they used to. There is now a presence of mind that provides clarity and purpose that did not exist for me prior to the Intensive.

It is impossible to put a value on such a quality of life enhancing experience that the Sedona Intensive provides the person willing to do the work.It is by far the most significant thing I have done in my 62 years.

I came across a quote last week that summed up what I experienced and learned while attending the Sedona Intensive – ‘Once you stop clinging and let things be, you’ll be free’ -Bodhidharma (440ce – 528 ce), the Zen Teaching of Bodhidharma: A Bilingual Edition.”
